Stickmanbangkok Named

In a follow up to the Stickmanbangkok VS Notstickmanbangkok post from earlier this week Notstick did go ahead and publish Stickmans name and work place. He did also publish his own photo and a few personal details.

The outcome of that is a notice on the Stickman site saying:

“The strains of working a full-time job and trying to run a website at the same time have token their toll on me and I have decided to take a break from the site to concentrate on my teaching. The most popular parts of the site will remain offline at this time.”

Shame it all came to this but again I am not party to what or why this has happened.

I was correct in suggesting that Notstick was wanting Stickman to make a choice between teaching and being an online businessman, here is a snippet from his post today:

“I had been wavering on my decision for a long time. On one hand, if Stickman wanted to leave the on-line web business and stay in his teaching position, I would have leaned towards allowing his to stay hidden. However, his actions of going off-line and back-on line suggest that he will not give up the web side of his work. Fine, that is a reasonable decision.”

And for a final quote, this time from my own post:

“One thing I’m certain of is this - there will be NO WINNER.

notstickmanbangkok.com will die a death before Xmas.
stickmanbangkok.com will never return as it was before.

stickboybangkok.com is born. I must have been looking into my crystal ball when I registered that back in June.”

And yes stickboybangkok.com will be online from Monday.
