Six Years Building a Matchstick F1 Car

February 15, 2008

This is matchstick man Michael Arndt sitting in his replica McLaren F1 car - made of matchsticks. Built over six years, at a cost of around 6000 Euros, he used 956,000 matchsticks and 1686 tubes of glue to build this full-scale replica of the McLaren F1 car.
