Lily Allen and Elton John were co-hosting the GQ Awards last night but the pair ended up having a slanging match live on stage.

Elton was pretending to be agitated with Lily drinking too much of the free champagne and as Lily told the audience: “And now to the most important part of the night,” Elton replied: “What? Are you going to have another drink?”

Pretending to take offence Lily retorted: “Fuck off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!”

To which Elton boasted: “I could still snort you under the table.”

At this point Lily simply told him: “Fuck off. I don’t know what you are talking about.”
