Is This Blog Dead?

Of course it’s not but in the eyes of search giant Google it is. This entire site is supplemental in the Google SERPS. Am I bothered? Well yes a little. I wouldn’t mind the odd bit of traffic, it’s not that much to ask LOL. Or is it and how do I set about repairing the damage?
Why I checked today the SERPS for BBI, I can’t remember why but the one thing jumped right off the page at me was the fact that when doing a site search it showed only three results with the line:
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 3 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.
Plus the RSS feed was top of the list. No homepage, that is a bad sign. I also realised that the description tags weren’t right. How could I be so stupid? Title and Desriptions are playing a part in the current Google algo, so why was I not making sure they were okay here?
To be honest it was simply an oversight because this blog is just for fun. I enjoy posting what I find on the net and get in my inbox and I like to share it with others.
So to try and repair the mess this site is in as far as Google goes I’ll start by addressing the pronlem with the META DESCRIPTION tag. A quick search for a Wordpress Plugin lead me to find Another Wordpress Meta Plugin. So it’s installed and very easy to use. Now to set a timetable for adding Description and Keyword tags for the 650+ posts I’ve made.
Anyone have any tips for good time management?
