Iron Maiden Live At Twickenham Stadium London
Right now I’m stood in Twickenham Stadium, London watching Iron Maiden playing their first ever stadium show in the UK as part of the ‘Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008′.
The band have headlined many festivals over the years in Britain but thy have never done a stadium gig of their own before. Add to that it’s their one and only UK show of 2008 so an 800 mile round trip to watch them thrash out classics like Number Of The Beast, The Trooper and the legendary Run To The Hills seemed a good idea.
Tomorrow evening I’ll give you a totty report but I don’t think I’m going to be treated to the same spectacle that was the Girls Aloud gig, but those rocker chicks aren’t normally shy about flashing their jugs.
About now they should be heading towards the end of the set which can mean only one thing…….
