Football Manager Rant Of The Season
May 13, 2008
As the football season in Scotland reaches a dramatic climax with two teams neck and neck for the Championship, accusations of skullduggery by match officials are rife.
Normally this is just from the fans with the odd team manager hinting at it but on Saturday that changed when Dundee Utd manager Craig Levein lost the plot on live TV after a match with title chasing Glasgow Rangers.
He accuses the referee of cheating and goes on to say he ‘bottled it’ when it came to awarding his team crucial decisions. No doubt he is neck high in the smelly stuff with the footballing authorities but it was entertaining to hear a manager speak his mind.
