Here’s a gallery of Cheryl Cole from the current Girls Aloud Tangled Up Tour.

I mentioned before that I was going to see them in Cheryl’s hometown Newcastle last weekend. The tickets were a birthday present and I was a bit skeptical of what was to come as Girls Aloud aren’t the type of band I’d usually go and see live but it was a chance to see Cheryl’s ass in the flesh, so the 200 mile trip wasn’t going to be a complete waste of time.

On arrival at the arena car park business picked up as I seen streams of scantily clad crumpet heading to the gig. My observations led me to believe not only was I going to see Girls Aloud, I was also going to be treated to Mums Aloud, Sluts Aloud, Uglies Aloud, Babes Aloud, Fatties Aloud and on and on I could go. All women of all ages dressed in all sorts of wannabe Girls Aloud type outfits from short skirts to butt flashing hotpants and I was loving the view.

The audience was roughly 90% women, that was made up of say 30% kids and 20% not-even-when-I’m-drunk types which left a healthy number of hot women to ‘admire’. This gig wasn’t going to be as bad as I had first thought. And there was still Cheryl’s ass to come!!

8.45: Showtime, with a huge explosion from a booming sound system the band hit the stage to a deafening cheer - it was after all Cheryl’s hometown and they were loving this chance to see their homegrown hero.

For the next hour and forty five minutes the Girls’ cranked out all their hits plus a few new tunes of which ‘Fling’ was the most memorable and probably a future single. The Girls all looked good, the sound system was louder than some rock bands I’ve seen, there was superb lighting with plenty of pyro and all in all a damn good show.

And Cheryl’s ass? Sweet my friends, it was as sweet as you dream and imagine it to be.
