Microsoft just can’t catch a break can they?  First they miss the boat on MP3 players, they flop with Vista, they miss out on a cool advertising campaign, they flop with their own commercials, their Zune player has a nice following and they screw that up with a worldwide lock down.  Zune users awoke to find that at midnight on the west coast their devices all locked up.  Oh we aren’t talking about a few devices here and there, but a worldwide freeze of all 30 gig players.  The phenomonan has even been given a cool name - “The Y2K9 Bug” - which has already had a greater impact than the original Y2K bug from a decade ago.  Where are my Zune owners???

Boxing has fallen on hard times now that MMA events have taken the spotlight with better talent and better excitement.  In order for boxing to gain back it’s one time place atop the violent sports they need a new hook.  With no real name to associate with the heavyweight division.  I believe Maxim has the right idea with hot women topless boxing.  Tell me you wouldn’t tune in for a Pay Per View event featuring Alice Goodwin and Bianca Knight bumping boobies!  Their spread in the February 2009 issue of Maxim UK really makes me thin boxing has a future.

The NCAA College Football Bowl season has arrived and it is time to look at the first day of games that will keep you in front of your television from 11AM  through 12AM - Eastern Standard Time of course.  Can you handle 13 hours of average collegiate football teams playing in some of the most well respected small time Bowl games that put team that barely qualified for them against each other?  Well if you shouted hell yes it is an excuse to drink and eat wings for an entire Saturday than this post is for you!  We will go touch on each of the games and help you determine what to look for in order to obtain maximum enjoyment.  Don’t forget to check out the Gunaxin Blog Bowl or some serious bowl coverage!

The day kicks off with the Eagle Bank Bowl at 11AM on ESPN that will have the 7-5 Wake Forest Demon Deacons taking on the 8-4 Navy Midshipmen in our nation’s capital.  Wake began the season 3-0 and was ranked #16 in the nation when the Midshipmen came calling and achieved their fist victory over a ranked team since 1985. Since that game Wake played .500 ball and fell out of the top 25 while Navy has won four of five including back to back shut outs.  I see Navy putting the final nail in he coffin of Wake’s once promising season and take this game 24-17.  On the bright side for Wake they have better looking cheerleaders.
